What a glorious day to be alive! Life gets better as the days come and go when Jesus Christ is at the center of it. When we let the Master lead the way and wash us with His Word, we can fight the good fight of faith and continue in hope. And yes - it is true - as we live our lives there will be disappointments. People will disappoint us, and we will disappoint them. Unpleasant circumstances will happen to most, and many will be the cause of them happening to others. However, when we allow God to lead the way and wash us with His Word, we can make it through it all. We can make it through each day. When we recognize how sinful and in need of the Savior we are, we can live and not die.
Many people go to church out of custom but are unwilling to love their neighbors as themselves. Some folks celebrate the Eucharist as traditional form but have never truly repented in their hearts. What a glorious day to be alive when Jesus Christ is at the center of it. Some folks never made it to be 10 years old; some never saw their 20’s. Many reached out for their 60’s but life for them ended in their 50’s.
What a glorious day to be alive! Life gets better as the days come and go when Jesus Christ is at the center of it. God loves us, and it is His hope we have everlasting life. Jesus Christ came so that we could live and not die. Repent of your sins and accept Him now while you still have a chance. Time is not guaranteed to any of us, and the Lord is coming back again. Trust God to help you through each day so that you are ready when He returns. Remember Jesus! Live for God!
No One Knows the Day or Hour
32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
